Resource Center

A sampling of the 900+ books & materials available in the Resource Center
The Saint Pius X Resource Center is located in the Faith Formation building and has been open since September 2009. The Resource Center is available for use by all parishioners and their families. It is also a great resource for Catechists to use for their classroom in preparing lessons, enrichment programs, etc. Please click here to download a PDF of a listing of the categories, not only in the children's section but for adults also. There are also videos for classroom use.

Any parishioner may borrow materials at any time that the Faith Formation building is open. Volunteers staff the Center from time to time and it is usually staffed on Sundays during regular Faith Formation class hours (9:00 to 11:30 AM); however, parishioners may visit the center whenever the building is open.

If you are at the Center at a time that a volunteer is not present, please follow the instructions on the table in the Resource Center to help you find the different sections and check out the materials. Materials may be kept for 2 weeks and returned in the bin outside of the Faith Formation building if building is not open.

The Center has over 900 volumes of books and resources for use by parishioners. You are encouraged to stop in, select some books to read with your family for sharing at home, for personal growth, education and enjoyment. Many parishioners stop and borrow books when they drop off or pick up their children for Faith Formation classes.

On "Coffee Sunday" each month there is a display in the Bill Fortin Memorial Hall showing a variety of the books that parishioners can borrow. Stop by, check it out and borrow some of the materials.

The Resource Center is an ongoing project, and additional volunteers are always welcome help increase the number of hours that Center staffed. Your suggestions and assistance is always welcome in order to help to make this Resource Center a success for Saint Pius X parishioners. This is your Center as a parishioner and you are urged to use it as often as you can.

You may contact the Resource Center coordinator, Br. Brian Champoux, OFM Cap., with questions or if you need assistance. (860) 347-4441
